The School: the owner of the StudentLocker account. This could be the school organisation, a volunteer organisation or association or any other party acting as locker manager for the school.

The Customer: Parent, Student or other person, reserving a locker operated by the School.
PRIVACY STATEMENT
SECTION 1 - WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?
When the Customer reserves a locker on our site, as part of the reservation process, StudentLocker and the school collect the personal information the customer enters in the reservation form, such as names, phone number and email address.
When the Customer accesses the locker reservation form, StudentLocker also automatically receives the used computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide information that helps StudentLocker learn about the used browser and operating system.
The School may use the Customer's email address or phone number to contact the Customer in relation to the locker reservation made.
If the School opts not to use the online reservation process, Customer information is entered or loaded into StudentLocker by the School. By opening the StudentLocker app, the School implies they have consent from the Customer to do so.
StudentLocker will never use, nor share or sell the Customer’s or the School’s details to any other party or use the details to contact the Customer.
SECTION 2 - CONSENT
How do the School and StudentLocker get your consent?
When the Customers provide StudentLocker with personal information to complete a reservation and optionally, verify a credit card, the School and StudentLocker imply that the Customer consents to StudentLocker or the School collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. If the School asks for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, the School will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.
How do you withdraw your consent?
If after you opt-in, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for the School to contact you, for the continued collection, use or disclosure of your information, at any time, by contacting the School. For contact details, refer to the School’s website.
SECTION 3 - DISCLOSURE
The School and StudentLocker may disclose the Customer’s personal information if they are required by law to do so or if the Customer violates StudentLocker’s Terms of Service.
SECTION 4 - STUDENTLOCKER
The locker reservation system is hosted on StudentLocker. StudentLocker provide the School with the online platform that allows the School to manage lockers and allow the Customer to reserve them.
The Customer’s data is stored through StudentLocker’s data storage, databases and application. StudentLocker store the Customer’s data on a secure server behind a firewall.
Payment:
If the School choses StudentLocker’s payment gateway ‘Stripe’ to complete the Customer’s reservation, then Stripe stores the Customer’s credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). The Customer’s credit card transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete the Customer’s reservation and transaction.
StudentLocker’s payment gateway ‘Stripe’ adheres to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
SECTION 5 - SECURITY
To protect the Customer’s personal information, StudentLocker take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. StudentLocker is hosted on the Outsystems platform which has the highest level of security standards and is compliant with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 and ISO 22301 Standards (Outsystems Security Statement).
If you provide Stripe with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.
SECTION 6 - COOKIES
To function as intended, StudentLocker uses cookies that will be stored on the Customer’s device when the Customer uses the reservation form. These cookies are not used for anything other than the functioning of the reservation form.
StudentLocker also uses cookies to ensure the functioning of the administrative application which is used by the School to manage the lockers. These cookies are not used for anything other than the functioning of the administration application.
SECTION 7 - AGE OF CONSENT
By using this site, the Customer represent that they are at least the age of majority in their state of residence, or that if the Customer is not of the age of majority in their state of residence and the Customer has given StudentLocker their consent to allow any of their minor dependents to use this site.
SECTION 8 - CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
StudentLocker reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time. StudentLocker will inform the School of the change in privacy statement one month in advance of the change. School will have the opportunity to inform Customers about the change in privacy policy. StudentLocker will provide an on-screen message on the locker reservation form informing of the change in policy.
If StudentLocker or it’s product and intellectual property are acquired or merged with another company, Customer’s information may be transferred to the new owners. StudentLocker undertakes to ensure that all Customer's information will remain subject to this privacy policy.
